Hardy Waterlilies

Hardy waterlilies will grace your pond year after year.

 

*Perennials, divide every 1 to 4 years, the larger the container and the lower the hardiness zone the longer you may go before dividing.

*Colors offered this season:  Changeable, Peach, Pink, Purple, Red, White and Yellow

*Historically blossoms float on the water surface, many new varities hold their blooms above the water

*Most require full sun, 5 to 6 hours of direct sun per day, some tolerate partial sun, at least 3 hours direct sun each day

*Size indicates the water surface the lily will cover.  Small:  under 5 feet  Medium: 6 to 10 feet Large: 10 plus

*Require to be planted in a container with topsoil, aquatic planting media or a combination of the two

*Fertilize regularly with lilytabs or annually with stakes

*Bloom throughout the summer, each blossom lasts 3 to 4 days, opening in the morning and closing in the afternoon

*Avearage waterlily cover 6 to 10 square feet of surface area, recommended to cover your water garden with 60% surface coverage

*Preadators: muskrat, nutria, ducks, geese, swans, deer, cattle, fish over 8 inches, turtles

*Warranty:  One full year, we will replace, exchange or offer store credit if your hardy waterlily does not grow.
