'Nelumbo' Chawan Basu. This is a beautiful lotus for any small to medium pond or container. Flowers are ivory white with deep pink margins and veins on the petals. The name chawan basu refers to rice bowl. Many growers note this plant seems to bloom best in zones 5 to 7 in areas with temperate summers. It has always flowered well at Lilypons. Origin unknown.
