'Nymphaea' Blue Beauty. The deep, rich blue flowers and highly flecked pads led the late Perry D. Slocum to comment "Due to its abundance of flowers and excellent color, I rate Blue Beauty as one of the greatest waterlilies of all time". The pads are green with several flecks of dark purple. Absolutely the most fragrant of all the waterlilies:)
Hybridized by Conard & Tricker in 1897. Nonviviparous. Very free flowering. One of the greatest waterlilies of all time!
