Orontium aquaticum
Dark, sometimes olive-green, lance-shaped leaves, 5 to 12" long form a tight clump, similar to a hosta. Unusual flowers that look like white spikes with yellow ends appear on mature plants in late spring or early summer. The overall visual effect is uniquely beautiful.
