Nymphaea 'Mangkala Ubol'
Want to fill your pond with lots of flowers all season long? Then Mangkala Ubol is the waterlily for you. This Thai cultivar opens its peachy blooms in the very early spring and continues to flower through late fall. The blooms span about 4 to 6 inches across and stand on a backdrop of dark green leaves speckled with burgundy. Dr. N. Nopchai Charnsilpa – who also hybridized the popular Wanvisa waterlily – created the Mangkala Ubol variety in 1997.
