Which tubing is right for me?

We offer four types of tubing:

1) Clear airline tubing:   When to use:  To connect aerator pump(sits out of the pond) to a unit that will emit bubbles into the water.   Ideally:  Want enough hose to run from the aerator pump to about 25 to 30 % into the water.

2) Black vinyl tubing:    When to use:  Economical choice to connect pump to filter, fountain, spitter, waterfall.  Best choice is short distance and/or tubing doesn't need to bend around objects and basically a straight shot between connections.  Main disadvantage:  it may kink on you if you need to bend around objects.

3) Black Deluxe Kink-free tubing:   When to use:  Most popular choice for homeowners to connect pump to filter, fountain, spitter, waterfall especially if you need to bend around objects.  Main disadvantage:  Not the best choice for larger ponds with higher capacity pumps, such as pumps that use 2 inch or larger tubing as is more likely to cause leaking.

4) Black PVC flex tubing:     When to use:  Most popular choice for professional use and/or larger ponds. IT IS RIDGID.   Main disadvantage:  Need to use glue to adhere and doesn't bend.
